having a conversation

Get Socialize

Today we are more connected than ever before through the internet. But at the same time, our real-world relationship is dwindling because at first within ourselves, we created a gap rather a gloomy, deeper cut between you in real-world and the internet world. People now live with airpods or earbuds, eyes glued to smartphone screen watching movies walking through the subway or other public places. And you think that this is a way to entertain yourself. Either you’re a public transport commuter or walking on foot to your workplace, you will certainly find people known or strangers that you can have a talk with. Have a conversation, pull out some funny, interesting topics. Don’t live self-wallowing about your weaknesses, failures and loss of loved ones. Sometimes, it is natural to be isolated from the people but socializing can beat down and overcome your depression.

Find some social activities and engage in it and have an interaction with your colleagues. You can visit and try for upcoming social events. Social media will not help you find a real meaningful conversation instead it might worsen your depression.

If you are often haunted by these: feeling nobody cares about you, loves you, likes you, etc. You’re wronged. Whether you believe in God or the existence of the devil. Remember there is someone who is constantly fighting against your good thoughts, good works and many good things in your life. Learn to handle your thinking and learn to switch to positive thoughts whenever you are attacked with negativity. Practice saying positive affirmations such “My life is going to be great,” “I am born worthy and I shall live to it,” “Bad and good are the best friends so I accept my weaknesses.”

“Be mindful. Be grateful. Be positive. Be true. Be kind.” Goodreads quote.

Sometimes, I would go to my friends’ place and do some funny acting and have crazy talks. Do whatever you feel like doing. Don’t care about judgement.
